KordaMentha grows Singapore Forensics practice
KordaMentha has further boosted its forensics practice through the appointment of the highly regarded Matthew Fleming to the Singapore practice. The addition boots KordaMentha's investigation and fraud risk management capabilities to service Asia Pacific.
Matthew has joined as a Partner in our KordaMentha Forensics’ Singapore office. Matthew brings a skill set which will complement those of our existing senior forensic investigation and fraud risk management practitioners: Owain Stone and Rob Cockerell (Melbourne) and Richard Bennison (Sydney).
Matthew Fleming has over 20 years’ experience in a wide range of investigation and fraud risk management engagements. Matthew worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 10 years in their investigation and forensics services practice. Previous to PricewaterhouseCoopers, Matthew was a Police Prosecutor in New South Wales.
Matthew has conducted protracted complex fraud and financial investigations, foreign bribery investigations, asset tracing assignments and anti-money laundering tasks. He has lived and worked in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China.
Owain Stone said: “We were looking to continue to build and grow the pre-eminent investigation team in Singapore and Australia. KordaMentha has the right culture and structure to allow us to develop the full potential of our team. We provide the full suite of forensic accounting services to corporate, government and legal clients across Australia and Asia Pacific. Matthew’s investigation skills will greatly add to our capabilities to undertake the most complex investigations."
Mark Korda said: “We are delighted to have Matthew join us. He has a very strong reputation within the Asia Pacific market. There is increasing levels of investigation work and a need, particularly in Asia Pacific, for high quality investigation specialists who do not have the conflicts that restrict the larger accounting firms.”
