With my background in computer forensics and law enforcement I strive to make that difference. My passion is to provide clear solutions through the use of innovative technologies.’

Brendan joined KordaMentha in April 2012 and has over 10 years experience in Forensic Technology and Investigations.

Prior to joining KordaMentha, Brendan was a manager within the forensic division of a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm performing complex computer forensic examinations on computer systems for businesses, government agencies, criminal investigations and civil litigation.

Brendan was previously with the Queensland Police Service (QPS) working in a variety of criminal investigation roles as an appointed Detective. He was also a member of the High Tech Crime Investigation Unit where he worked alongside State, Federal and International law enforcement agencies such as the United States Secret Service.

Brendan has given evidence in a number of matters before the Brisbane District and Magistrates courts as well as in civil proceedings.

  • Seizure and analysis of digital evidence from computers, mobile devices, servers and the cloud.
  • Data recovery and electronic discovery in commercial dispute litigation.
  • Conducting information security, fraud, misconduct and intellectual property theft investigations.
  • Expert report in the matter of Gekko Developments Pty Ltd v Centa Company Pty Ltd (Supreme Court of Queensland).
