• Acted as independent expert in the Federal Court of Australia in relation to losses suffered by an investor from the alleged negligence of a financial advisor
• Acted as independent expert in the New South Wales Supreme Court in relation to the losses incurred by a commodities trader following termination of a supply contract without reasonable notice
• Acted as independent expert for the Crown in a matter before the Supreme Court of Queensland relating to the financial impact of restrictions of trading permits on a number of hospitality operators in south east Queensland
• Prepared an independent expert report for the Supreme Court of Queensland relating to the economic feasibility of converting a kerosene-fired power station to coal methane gas
• Prepared various reports for the ICC International Centre for Arbitration relating to economic loss and valuation of shares in the context of joint venture disputes in the shipping, automotive and software industries
• Prepared a number of independent expert reports for the Supreme Court of Queensland relating to the economic loss incurred by a mining company from a breach of fiduciary duties by senior company executives
• Prepared a number of independent expert reports for the Supreme Court of Queensland relating to the economic loss incurred by a listed mining company following the collapse and destruction of a significant piece of mining equipment
• Prepared an independent expert report for the Federal Court of Australia in respect of the economic loss incurred by a global firm in the financial services industry following an alleged breach of contract by a key team of employees
• Undertook a valuation of a parcel of shares in a company listed on the ASX, subject to discounts for lack of marketability and blockage discounts for the Family Court of Australia
• Prepared an independent expert's report into the insolvency and auditor negligence aspects of a Supreme Court action brought by the liquidator of a property development group of companies against the former auditors.
