Tom has over 11 years’ experience in a diverse range of property engagements and has provided advice to private, institutional and corporate clients across Australia and South-East Asia.


As a partner in the Real Estate group, Tom’s core competencies include corporate real estate advisory, real estate transaction management, asset management and investment management. Throughout this career Tom has been responsible for a wide range of engagements across property sectors and geographic locations in Australia. This has included complex operational and turnaround management as well as independent property portfolio reviews, asset divestments and capital restructuring. Tom has also been engaged to review, analyse, recommend and manage real estate investments throughout South East Queensland for domestic and international clients. This experience has defined strong financial analysis skills and a strategically minded outlook. His focus combines a responsibility towards achieving optimal asset performance while managing risk and the interests of competing stakeholders.


Prior to joining KordaMentha in 2005, Tom worked with one of Australia’s largest commercial real estate agencies gaining practical experience in sales, leasing and management.

  • Strategic review and advice to the board and executive management of an institutional banking client regarding a $780 million mortgage portfolio.
  • $400 million workout of mixed use development on the Gold Coast incorporating 507 residential apartments, 4,500sq.m of retail and 7,700sq.m of commercial office tenancies.
  • Structuring, negotiation and advice to equity investors in an $80 million mixed use development incorporating 121 hotel rooms and 112 residential apartments in inner Brisbane.
  • Buy side due diligence and advice to global investment bank on acquisition of $70 million debt in large, mixed use development in SE Qld.
  • Management of equity investment into $10 million residential development in inner Brisbane.
