Luke started his career as a digital forensic investigator during his time with the Digital Forensics Unit of the NSW Police Force where he honed his skills in all aspects of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security criminal investigations. With almost 20 years' experience in Digital Forensics, Luke has been involved in thousands of high profile and technically complex matters and has presented digital forensic evidence at all levels of the judicial system from local to supreme courts in both criminal, civil and industrial relation matters.
Luke is particularly strong in digital forensic investigations where evidential data resides on any device capable of storing data such as modern mobile phones, tablets, computers, servers, CCTV systems and remotely stored data such as the cloud. Luke also has lengthy experience in leading complex search warrants, anton pillar orders and undertaking remote stored data (cloud acquisitions). He is well versed in the technical and legal facets that affect the forensic acquisition of data from remote sources (cloud). Luke is also an experienced technical trainer and curriculum developer in the area's of computer and mobile forensics.
