Dan brings over 18 years of consulting experience, primarily working in the Defence sector, providing advice in the areas of supply chain and logistics, inventory management, fleet management, maintenance management, and configuration management.

Dan has experience delivering projects across nearly all phases of the One Defence Capability System and has been involved in many significant engagements, including large-scale technology transformation projects, business process improvement projects (including Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation), supply chain reviews, and feasibility studies.

  • Business Analyst and Workstream Lead responsible for data acquisition and archiving on a $233 million program to build a data and analytics platform, transforming the way Defence uses data to enable faster, superior decision-making and, ultimately, making data a strategic warfighting asset
  • PMO Lead for the replacement of the Asset Management and Planning System (AMPS), which is the primary maintenance management tool for Navy vessels including LHDs, frigates, air warfare destroyers, and offshore patrol vessels
  • Workstream lead responsible quantifying the supply chain issues impacting the delivery of maintenance to the Armoured Cavalry Regiment (ACR)
  • Workstream lead on a business improvement project for Navy Guided Weapons SPO (NGWSPO), aimed at implementing sustainable maintenance practices and associated inventory improvements
