About

Michael brings a practical approach to business challenges, combining deep expertise in restructuring and formal insolvency with a track record in governance and advisory roles. With over 30 years’ experience across Australia and the UK, his ability to respond quickly, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively is highly valued by clients navigating complex or high- pressure situations.

Michael has worked across a wide range of sectors, including government, education, and not-for-profit organisations. He is a passionate advocate for tertiary education – particularly vocational education and training (VET). He has been a board director and held leadership positions, underpinned by his AICD qualification.

Known for his resourcefulness and willingness to tackle problems of any size, Michael prefers to work side by side with clients —whether in the boardroom, on-site, or in front of stakeholders.
