About
Specialising in the fields of forensic technology, Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics and electronic discovery, Peter has more than 20 years of experience in technology incident analysis and investigation.
His forensic IT career began with the NSW Police High Tech Crime Unit in 1999 and includes eight years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and 11 years with Ferrier Hodgson/KPMG. Peter also previously held a position as a Lecturer with the UTS Business School in the Accounting Discipline Group, completing a PhD in 2016 which assessed the impact of effective IT governance mechanisms on business performance.
Peter has conducted hundreds of investigations on matters such as intellectual property theft, fraud, misuse of computer systems, computer crime, IT security incident analysis, IT project failure and system activity analysis. He has an excellent understanding of a wide variety of forensic, Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, electronic discovery and data analytics applications.
