About

Richard is KordaMentha’s industry lead partner for health. He brings 30 years’ experience in Australia’s health and ageing industries spanning consulting, executive, board director and clinical roles. Richard advises and enables leading organisations, government and industry to achieve high performance and strategic success in Australia’s rapidly changing health system.

Richard’s collaborative and engaging leadership style is complemented by a rigorous, analytical approach to achieving real impact and outcomes. A driven problem-solver, Richard integrates a broad span of strategic, operational and commercial consulting expertise with the practical know-how of what works in health.

Richard is expert in strategy, organisational performance and business model transformation. He is equipped with a strong track record of success in advising on some of the industry’s most significant assignments including government policy and programs, public, private and non-profit health services, aged care, primary care, diagnostic services and digital health. Prior to his advisory career, Richard was an accomplished healthcare manager, holding senior executive, management and strategic roles in public and private health. Richard also has a previous clinical background as a physiotherapist.

Richard’s commitment to better health extends to his involvement in governance, advisory and industry roles. He has a special interest in mentoring and developing future healthcare industry leaders.
