What to expect from this seminar

This in-person seminar will build on Session 1: Introductory valuation principles for lawyers and will focus on what is helpful for legal practitioners to understand about valuation.

It will explain in more detail the two most common valuation approaches: the discounted cash flow (DCF) approach and the market approach in a way that will enable participants to review valuation reports more astutely and identify any shortcomings. It will highlight common pitfalls in valuation reports and enable legal practitioners to recognise areas of weakness.

Session 2 of this series is designed for those with a basic understanding of the mechanics of valuation principles and methodologies, including participants who have attended Session 1 of this series.
