General Information
Craig Shepard, Andrew Knight and Michael Korda were appointed Administrators of the Companies on 19 May 2025 pursuant to Section 436A of the Corporations Act.
Any updates in relation to the status of the administrations will be communicated to stakeholders via mail, email and this website as they become available. The Companies are relying on the relief set out in ASIC Corporations (Externally-Administered Bodies) Instrument 2015/251 in relation to the Companies’ financial reporting obligations under Part 2M.3 of the Corporations Act 2001.
Sales process
Following appointment, the Administrators undertook an immediate sale of business campaign for the assets of the Companies. On 27 June 2025, the Administrators entered into two separate Asset Sale Agreements with:
Customer note: For any customers with pre-appointment gift cards or deposits (up to the value of $1,000), the gift card or deposit (as store credit) may be redeemed on a 1:1 basis at stores that are listed as ‘under contract’ (this offer may no longer be available after the sale transactions are finalised). Alternatively, customers may discuss with their credit card providers or submit a Proof of Debt with the Administrators.
Convening Period Extension
On 5 June 2025, the Administrators applied to the Federal Court of Australia seeking various orders including to extend the convening period for the second meetings of creditors of the Companies to 14 September 2025 ('Convening Period'). The Court made orders granting the relief sought by the Administrators. The second meetings of creditors for the Companies must now be held at any time during the period up to, or within five business days after, the end of the Convening Period. Further information on this matter and the other relief granted is included below.
Proofs of Debt If you are a creditor with a claim against one or more of the Companies in the Group, you can submit a Proof of Debt and supporting documentation via the Creditors’ Portal (further instructions can be found in the Creditors section below).
