Friday, 21 June 2019 Restructuring Director, Paul Hewson, spoke to Recruitment Marketing Magazine recently about the importance of charity events, such as Tour de Office and Chain Reaction, in engaging staff and giving back to the community. These events play an important role in raising money for much-needed causes, while also helping to ensure an inclusive and collaborative culture at KordaMentha while looking after staff health and wellbeing. As Paul told assistant editor Victoria McGlynn, KordaMentha has taken part in Tour de Office, which features stationary bike rides within the workplace, for five years now: “We were looking for an event where we could engage both employees and key clients. It really aligned with our values, gave us the opportunity to be active and raise money for charity, and enlivened the competitive spirit that runs through our office.” While Tour de Office and Chain Reaction are among the best known of the charities that KordaMentha works with, they are far from the only ones, with our offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth all choosing to support different charities that align with their own passions and KordaMentha’s values.
