All of the hard work on the bike over these three gruelling days was being done for a fantastic cause, Freedom Wheels, a charity that custom builds bikes for kids with disabilities.  Thanks to the generous support of Chain Reaction's corporate partners, ISPT and Crema Constructions; and the generosity of each rider’s donors, over $95,000 has been raised to date.

The riders travelled to by coach to the start line in Barwon Heads for the beginning of Stage 1 which was an 82 km loop around the Bellarine Peninsula.  Day 2 was the queen stage of the ride and was an amazing 122 km loop along parts of the Great Ocean Road towards Aireys Inlet before returning to Barwon Heads. On the final day riders had an early start to cross Port Phillip Bay by ferry. Once in Sorrento the torrential rain could not dampen the spirit of the riders as they rode the last stretch home to the finish line in St Kilda. The 122 km ridden mainly in the wet was soon forgotten as they were welcomed home by a very excited groups of family and friends.

Congratulations to all the riders involved in this event and we hope to see you back again in 2015.
