Monday, 2 October 2017 This week our very own Mel Lourens, Restructuring Executive Analyst and Belinda Drew, Head of People and Culture, will be joining 50 other businesswomen in the 2017 Chain Reaction Women’s 300 from 6-10 October. The three-day ride will begin at the iconic Byron Bay, before winding through coastal roads and the hinterland of New South Wales and Queensland border finishing in Brisbane. The Chain Reaction Women’s 300 will raise much needed funds for local charities Hummingbird House, Queensland’s only children’s hospice, and Youth Advocate Centre which provides free legal services, youth support and family support to young people. The KordaMentha team will include Chigusa Sawamura, Vicky Papachristos, Claire O’Rourke, Georgina Madsen, Melissa Lourens, Belinda Drew, Katrina Bromell, Sheridan Braatvedt. About Chain Reaction Chain Reaction was founded by our Head of Real Estate, Berrick Wilson after his daughter was rushed to hospital with a brain haemorrhage when she was just two days old. Since its first ride in 2007, many of our people have participated in Chain Reaction or have donated their time and expertise to support this important initiative which has raised over $21 million to date.
