KordaMentha is pleased to welcome Tim Phillipps and Richard Jaya Santoso to the firm’s expanding practice across Asia Pacific. Tim joins as a Consultant in Singapore and Richard as Director in Jakarta. The firm’s established team of respected forensic experts has worked on some of the region’s most complex cross-jurisdictional matters. As the spotlight intensifies on financial crime and forensic investigations, the new appointments will strengthen KordaMentha’s ability to service growing client demand across regional markets. Tim joins the firm’s Singapore office and will work with clients throughout South East Asia and Australia. He previously held significant appointments with Deloitte, including Australia and Southeast Asian Head of Forensics and Financial Crime, and later as Global Head of Forensics, Financial Crime, and Data Analytics. Tim brings immense global experience in fraud, bribery, and corruption investigations, anti-money laundering (‘AML’), and regulatory compliance with the world’s largest multinationals and corporations operating in Asia Pacific. He is a respected advisor and financial crime, data analytics, and RegTech specialist. His appointment is strategically important in helping the firm expand this capability across the region.” Richard Jaya Santoso is a forensic specialist with more than 10 years’ experience. He will be based in the firm’s Jakarta office, working throughout Indonesia and South East Asia. As a former Director at Deloitte Indonesia, Richard led large fraud, bribery, and employee misconduct investigations for some of the world’s largest multinational organisations. He is an expert in eDiscovery, computer forensics, and data review, possessing extensive knowledge in the latest review and AI technology. “Richard’s experience managing international whistle blowing reporting and investigations is a great strategic asset to the firm.
