Highlighted Experience

• Technology Strategy: Led a team to work collaboratively with a large brand-name Australian company to develop their IT strategy after they listed on the ASX. The strategy addressed the technology team operating model, underlying technology platforms, project management and software development practices, and IT Governance.
• Technology Transformation: As an interim CIO for a large education-sector client, Charles managed the transformation of their IT function which included development of a revised strategy, a restructure of the internal IT team, implementation of new operational and governance practices, and recruitment and onboarding of the full-time CIO.
• IT Governance: Charles led an engagement to assess and revise technology governance practices for a for-purpose joint venture funded by well-known Australian market leaders. This included working with the CEO and executive team to define and establish a technology steering committee, an investment decision-making process, and a revised governance model.
