Having demonstrated exceptional results as an experienced professional with the NSW Police Force for nearly 26 years, Roland joined the KordaMentha Forensic team as a Director.
With a proven track record in team leadership, law enforcement, conducting investigations and project management, he confidently builds relationships and rapport with teams and stakeholders from all experience levels and backgrounds. His analytical and methodical personality has seen him lead high-profile financial investigations of criminal and civil matters.
Roland was the leader of the NSW Police Force Sydney City Fraud Unit for nearly 20 years and during this time received international and Australian awards and recognition for the successful prosecution of significant fraud. Roland co-authored the NSWPF Fraud Standard Operating Procedures and regularly presented training to detectives on fraud and cyber-crime, including advanced interviewing techniques.
Roland has organised and completed several inter-state and international extraditions of fugitives across Australia and from four continents.
Roland also excels in sport, having been inducted into the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame (AMAHOF) twice and is Head Teacher at his own martial arts school.
Roland is the current Training Director for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE - Sydney Chapter), Treasurer for the International Police Association (NSW Region), and Treasurer for AMAHOF.
