Cyclists took in Tasmania's stunning views as they rode for a cause.

2022’s Chain Reaction Challenge for Sydney cyclists saw a return of the seven-day event to Tasmania. Once again taking on the gruelling 1000km ride, the cyclists battled varied terrain and physical and mental trials.

At the end of day one, Founder of Chain Reaction, Berrick Wilson, welcomed the group. Sharing his personal story behind the Foundation’s inception, Berrick set the tone for the week’s event. KordaMentha rider, Neil Hayward, commented on the powerful Chain Reaction origin story which drives the cyclists to stay the challenging course. “I think we all want to do something, and this is a small chance for us to do a bit [to help children in need].”

We are proud that the KordaMentha team managed to raise over $90,000 in support of this year’s charity partners, including Monash Children’s Hospital, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Traction, So they can, Hope Street Baptist Care and the aeiou Foundation for children with autism.

A special congratulations also goes to Neil Hayward on winning the Black Jersey sponsored by LSH Auto.
