KordaMentha is pleased to announce the sale of LiveTiles out of receivership.

LiveTiles is a global leader in the employee experience industry, developing software for employee collaboration and communications, creating and delivering solutions that drive digital transformation, productivity, and employee engagement in the modern workplace. LiveTiles has operations spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, and services over 500 customers.

Following a competitive sale process run in conjunction with Atlas Technology Group, LiveTiles has been acquired by Swedish based Omnia, who are backed by software growth investor Monterro and publicly listed Precio Fishbone.

“The sale is a fantastic outcome for LiveTiles” says receiver Michael Korda. “The transaction will enable the group to achieve its long-term vision to create the leading digital workplace solution globally. Furthermore, the sale has delivered ongoing employment for LiveTiles’ employees and continuation of services for LiveTiles’ customers.”

“Throughout the period of receivership, we worked closely with the management team of LiveTiles to stabilise and right-size the operations of the Group. I would like to thank all the LiveTiles’ management team for its dedication during this period.”

Silicon Valley based Atlas Technology Group served as advisor to KordaMentha during the sale process.  Atlas’ team was led by Managing Directors Louis Draper and Karlis Felzenberg who added, “Atlas Technology Group is pleased to have assisted in the successful sale of LiveTiles. The process consisted of a global campaign to deliver a transaction that optimizes the outcome for all stakeholders – we believe we found that party in Omnia.”

KordaMentha was also advised by international law firm Hamilton Locke.
